The qualitative interview

It is in qualitative methods to describe, interpret and understand contexts, the establishment of classifications and the generation of hypotheses. The respondent can freely formulate his thoughts and the interviewer shall specify-ing demands. Furthermore, he paraphrases the statements, i.e. repeatedly said in a slightly modified form, as an incentive to continue to give narrative (Lamnek 1989, p. 55). In the qualitative or empirical Survey research design is related to the practice in the pre-dergrund. One theory is different from the findings derived. The study objects are problem-oriented and are supported by a diverse number of sources. The qualitative interview is characterized by much greater openness and flexibility from. It aims, according to the reality of subjective perspective of the relevant interview partners manner. This leads to understanding the possible causes for their behavior and to understand their behavior. People create the reality for themselves "by using them constantly interpret and re-negotiate. The aim of qualitative social research is to capture these processes, whereby the act of research itself as a process of communication between researchers and carry-ing is understood." (Atteslander 1995, p. 93). The interpretation process in which people understand their environment, are the subject of research.

On the qualitative interviews, thematic guides developed. This means that the sequence of questions and design flexibility and the responsiveness of the conversation partners are unlimited (Flick 1995; Kepper 1993). It is structured observation schedules and standardized practices waived. The researcher must become involved in this method to the situation and life interpretations of those interpretations with data processing. Its mission is to provide, inside perspective "of the field acting subjects imsozialen manner and to reconstruct. Hypotheses arise during the research process. Even aspects that are not provided, may be identified during the qualitative interviews discussed and determined. It is also important to consider the significance of certain facts relating to the parties concerned to recognize. The challenge facing the researcher in qualitative social research is the meaningful order and Auswertungder wealth of information.
